The school was established in 1921 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in rural area. It is situated at a distance of about 8 km. from the Block HQ. It is located in EDAPPAL block of MALAPPURAM district of KERALA. The school consists of Grades from 1 to 4. The school is co-educational and it does not have an attached pre-primary section. The school is non-residential in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. It had 4 academic inspections and was 2 times visited by the CRC Coordinator during the previous academic year. It was 1 time visited by the BRC Coordinator. കാലടി പഞ്ചായത്ത്തലം പ്രവേശനോത്സവം AMLP s കാലടിയിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്നു.സ്വാഗതം - ശ്രീമതി ടീച്ചർ (H M), അധ്യക്ഷൻ - PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ് പി.അബ്ദുള്ള, ഉദ്ഘാടനം _ കാലടി പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് - കവിത, കിറ്റ് വിതരണം -വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ബക്കർ എന്നിവർ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. പ്രവേശനോത്സവത്തിന് ആശംസകൾ അർപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാൻഡിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ _ പ്രേമ, വാർഡ് മെമ്പർമാരായ ബിന്ദു, വി.വി .അബൂബക്കർ , പി.കെ.ദിവാകരൻ, സി.ആർ.സി. കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഹെൽജി.സി.അബ്രഹാം, PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ് - പ്രശോഭ്, സീനിയർ ടീച്ചർ- മീര എ.കെ.
